Translator / Assistant in Calgary

Key work responsibilities:
● day to day tasks
● dealing with telephone and email enquiries
● managing diaries and making appointments; maintaining calendar
● providing verbal and written translation
● typing: drafting letters and other documents, revising changes
● preparing and distributing papers and documents for meetings
● photocopying and printing
● organising travel: scheduling, booking rooms, tickets
● organising electronic filing
● advertising placement and other issues with mass media

Key work responsibilities:
● welcoming visitors, determining the nature of business and announcing visitors to appropriate business unit;
● managing conference rooms;
● arranging couriers (transmit/receive);
● maintaining safe and clean reception area by complying with corporate procedures, rules, and regulations;
● answering and forwarding phone calls;
● sorting and distributing mail;
● ordering TAXI for guests;
● office support for Management;
● coordination of client meetings;
● new joiners accommodation;
● expense reports’ creation, calculation and monitoring;
● solving ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Key work responsibilities:
● maintaining communication with the media;
● taking part in brand development, marketing campaigns strategic planning and fulfillment;
● gathering contacts into CRM system;
● CRM system management and its exploitation in marketing purposes;
● carrying out CRM system and website administration trainings for support staff;
● managing the process of branded materials manufacture (design and its implementation);
● market research;
● work with knowledge databases;
● website and LinkedIn page administration;
● managing relations with various contractors (both residents and non-residents), handling supporting accounting documents;
● handling day-to-day tasks from direct supervisor (Business Development Director).

Key work responsibilities:
● managing the reception desk effectively which included answering phone calls, sorting out mail, providing assistance to Clifford Chance employees, clients and guests, keeping track of office supplies, spotting problems at reception and resolving them, maintaining conference rooms in order etc.;
● training two administrative assistants in compliance with company’s high standards and policies;
● meeting clients and guests, providing assistance during business meetings;
● high competency in MS Word package, formatting of legal documents;
● translations including translation of press releases, agreements and other internal documents upon request;
● maintenance of Clifford Chance archive facility;
● editing of the internal website;
● assisting Business Development specialist with various BD-related tasks (participation in conferences, organization of seminars, conducting BD research of leading companies on the Ukrainian market etc.)

Key work responsibilities:
● promoting the educational process;
● teaching English and English phonetics to first-course students and theoretical discipline to third-course students;
● evaluating students according to their achievements.
